By executing its sustainability strategy, Boskalis aims to contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) most relevant to Boskalis’ business and stakeholders. Its materiality assessment, stakeholder engagement and SDG analysis played an essential role in the development of this strategy, which has been closely guided by its senior leadership team to ensure integration with its business strategy.
DEME NV
To push sustainable value creation forward, DEME has established a clear vision about how to integrate the Sustainable Development Goals into its daily operations. DEME wants to continuously challenge itself to develop more sustainable solutions within its portfolio so that its operations become more environmentally friendly. DEME identified eight sustainability themes that will support them to create sustainable value.
Dutch Dredging
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability in particular is something that is increasingly common in the sector. Customers of Dutch Dredging are increasingly asking for a CO₂ certificate. With this, Dutch Dredging shows that they work in an environmentally friendly way. Dutch Dredging has obtained a certificate at level 3 of the CO₂ Performance Ladder, which actually demonstrates this.
